Model comparison

Coco Plush, channeled faux fur or a foot pocket?

“Plush” is not one blanket construction. Sunbeam’s current 50 × 70-inch throws with page-level model code 32810123 include a Microplush face with Sherpa reverse, smooth Coco Plush on both sides, bubble-faux-fur and channeled-faux-fur faces with velvet reverses, a basic Microplush face/reverse, and a separate foot-pocket configuration. Those surface and shape labels matter more than the repeated model number.

Start with the two sides, not a luxury label

The six Luxe Plush collection listings identify Coco Plush on the face and reverse: Gingerbread Cookie SKU 14618, Sage 14617, Black 14616, Dark Navy 14615, Deep Sage Buffalo Shade 14602 and Sheppard Plaid Blue Brown 14601. The pages describe a smooth or velvety surface but do not state fiber percentages, pile height, textile weight or a measured softness rating. “Luxe” and “Luxury Collection” are brand wording, not a fabric test. All six are listed at 50 × 70 inches, with one controller, four settings, a fixed four-hour shutoff and the same linked manual. The last two titles/descriptions and exact images call/show plaid while their exact specifications say “Pattern: Solid”; their exact finish identities are clear, but pattern should not be treated as verified. No finish has a documented heat or size advantage.

Another 50 × 70-inch group under the reused 32810123 code—SKUs 14580 through 14585—lists Microplush for both face and reverse. Greystone, Big Blue, Balmoral Blue and Light Gray / Washed Stone join two named plaid finishes; the exact page images for 14580, 14584 and 14585 look checked even though their specification field says Pattern: Solid. This conflict matters if a print is essential. The basic Microplush listing has no documented Sherpa or velvet reverse and no different controller schedule. See the two-sided Microplush throw review for finish-by-finish details and the unresolved page identifiers.

By contrast, the separately listed channeled faux-fur finishes—Maroon/Luscious Merlot SKU 14621, Gingerbread Cookie 14620 and Greystone 14619—have a ribbed face and velvet reverse in their specifications. That creates a visibly more textured side and a different material pairing than the two-sided Coco Plush listing. Its exact product copy also uses the 32810123 number, so check the finish, surface, shape and SKU together; the page code does not name one unique throw.

A separate construction puts Microplush on the face and identifies the reverse as Sherpa (the narrative calls it faux shearling). Its four SKUs are Greystone 14586, Red-Black Buffalo 14587, Black-White Buffalo 14588 and Walker Plaid Burgundy 14589. Some exact pages are titled and pictured as plaid even though their specifications say “Pattern: Solid”; retain that mismatch rather than treating the field as decisive. Read the Microplush/Sherpa variant review and the guide to surface pairing and care.

Bubble texture is not the same as a ribbed pile

The three inspected Luxury Collection pages—Violet Gem SKU 14614, Green 14600 and Brown Basket 14598—name a bubble-faux-fur face with a velvet reverse. Their exact specifications agree on the 50 × 70-inch size, four heat levels, one controller and fixed four-hour cutoff. The official product images show a raised, curled-looking top, but neither the image nor the “luxury” label proves fiber content, a particular hand feel or extra warmth. Sunbeam does not publish fiber percentages, pile height or weight for these variants. This gives a shopper a documented surface-pair choice, not a textile-performance ranking. See the bubble-faux-fur/velvet assessment for its wash routine and finish/SKU details.

Know which shape changes the use

A third 32810123 configuration is described as a foot-pocket throw. It is not simply another fabric color: a pocket changes how the lower edge is used when you sit. The current exact foot-pocket review covers only its individually confirmed Eastview Plaid Gray SKU 14416 and Khaki Green/Grape Leaf SKU 14415; two other observed pages with conflicting form or measurements remain outside its confirmed matches. Do not assume a pocket exists because a listing shares the same model number, or that a smooth throw encloses the feet because the image is folded.

All three configuration assessments describe corded throws rather than fitted pads, bed-size blankets or the battery-powered On-the-Go wearable. If you want to cover a mattress, start with a bed blanket or a mattress pad instead of interpreting the 50 × 70-inch throw as a bed-size product. If you need to move around without a wall cord, compare the 32810128 On-the-Go manual and battery estimates; its battery runtime is a different question from a corded throw’s auto-off timer.

Care and controls can outweigh the surface

The Luxe Plush and channeled pages link the same 2026 bilingual heated-throw instructions. Its English panel describes a central button that cycles Warm, Low, Medium and High, a single controller, and automatic shutoff after four hours of continuous use. That is a fixed cutoff, not a selectable timer. The manual calls for cold gentle-cycle machine washing or hand washing after unplugging and removing the control; tumble low/delicate only until damp, reshape, and finish drying completely on a line or rack. It rules out commercial dryers, dry cleaning, bleach, softener, wringing and ironing. Those directions require more time than a typical wash-and-dry cycle, whatever texture you choose.

For every color, measure the space, confirm the exact SKU, and check that the cord can reach an appropriate wall outlet without being pinched. Look at the full instructions that arrive with the exact item. The product pages do not publish fiber composition, weight or comparative warmth, and a packshot cannot resolve how soft or warm a surface will feel to you.

Read the Coco Plush configuration assessment, the channeled faux-fur assessment and the confirmed foot-pocket review before choosing by surface or shape. For broader form selection, see when a throw is not a bed blanket.

A larger Microplush option changes size, not controls

Sunbeam model 32810124 is listed at 60 × 80 inches with Microplush on both sides and one controller. It adds ten inches to each side compared with the 50 × 70-inch 32810123 versions, but does not add a foot pocket, independent zones or a selectable timer. Gray Buffalo Plaid and Buffalo Tan page titles and product images show plaid even though a spec field says “Pattern: Solid”; the Buffalo Tan page also contains copied copy for a different 50 × 60 wearable throw. See the 32810124 assessment and the space and coverage guide for those practical differences.
